Rates & Policies

We accept all major credit cards, including PayPal.

 

Check In:  3:00 PM to 7:00 p.m. EST If arriving later than 7:00 p.m. special arrangements must be made as we may have made prior engagements.  If you would like to check-in prior to 3:00 p.m. please feel free to contact us on the day of your arrival to check the availability of your room.  Please tell us your approximate time of arrival so that we may personally check you in.  If you do arrive at a different time we ask that you call us to let us know; as we may have made other commitments.  Check Out: 10:00 AM EST Deposit Requirement:   $200.00 (details) Both Apartments feature fully furnished, fully equipped kitchen facilities, private baths/shower, cable TV, DVD player, microwave, all the amenities and BBQ grill to share. A full set of linens and towels is provided. Replacement sets may be obtained for a service fee. We do not provide maid service! <<back to top Rates: (our weeks are Sunday to Sunday) "The Couple's Retreat" (Sleeps 1-2) $130.00 per night $600.00 per week "The Cozy Cottage" (Sleeps 3-4) $175.00 per night $750.00 per week <<back to top Reservations: Reservations will be guaranteed only if we have received payment of the security deposit for lodging by credit card, or check. (Check must be received within 10 days after your reservation has been made.) Full payment is due upon check in. Rates quoted are for 1 or 2 people. If more than two people per room, arrangements must be made prior to arrival as only certain rooms can accommodate more than two people. Policies: Group bookings of both apartments will require an extended cancellation period.   Smoking is NOT permitted in suites.  For your convenience, sand pails are located outside for cigarettes. House phone is not available.  If you need to stay connected to the world outside of Saugatuck/Douglas, please bring your mobile phone. <<back to top Pets: We have a dog on the premises (which does NOT go into guest apartments). Guest pets less than 25 pounds are allowed, and you must clean up after your pet.  An additional non-refundable pet fee of $50.00 is required. (details) <<back to top Cancellations: If canceling 14 days or more prior to your arrival, request a cancellation number to ensure your credit card will be refunded. If canceling a reservation less than 7 days prior to arrival, or if a "no-show," the full amount of your entire stay will be charged to your credit card. Be sure to ask for a cancellation number if you do cancel your reservation. Changing your reservation or decreasing the length of your stay after your initial reservation may change the rate and/or availability of rooms.   Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to your reservation are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per room. Please ask for a cancellation number to ensure your credit card will be refunded.  Changing your reservation or decreasing the length of your stay after your initial reservation may change the rate and/or the availability of apartments.  Parties who cancel less than 14 days in advance will forfeit the entire security deposit which will be charged to your credit card.  <<back to top
